We are lucky to have fantastic amenities in our villages which all contribute to a wonderful community spirit. The parish has 2 pubs, primary school and pre-school, church, village hall (which hosts the part-time post office), community room, 2 playparks and a community orchard. Sadly the Cornwood Village Shop is closed at the moment.
Cornwood Store: the shop is closed at the moment. The owner of the building is looking for someone to take it on so fingers crossed.

Community Orchard
The orchard is at Heathfield (opposite the entrance to Delamore). It contains many old Devon varieties of apple trees which are cared for by volunteers. Wassailing, apple pressing and bug counts all go on here. Contact Gill Glegg for more information.

Playparks Lutton and Cornwood both have playparks for younger children. We have recently replaced all the equipment in the Lutton playpark and upgraded equipment in the Cornwood playpark. The playparks are maintained by the Parish Council and have regular safety inspections.
